5 Most Romantic Movies To Watch

1. The Notebook (2004)

The chemistry between Ryan Gosling and Rachel McAdams on this flick is undeniably one of its best things. And the chemistry was taken out to the real world between the two, who had a relationship for about two years after the movie. They play Noah and Allie's love story so intensely that it just makes us sigh throughout the whole thing. Their love story is the classic equation for us to cry, laugh, burn in desire and cry again. It has tons of adversities, a war in the middle and all things that make us want to fall in love everyday, over and over again.

2.Casablanca (1942)

A classic is always a classic! If you love black and white drama, this is the one to go for! During WW II, a north American exile (Humphrey Bogart), finds refuge in the city of Casablanca and encounters his lost love (Ingrid Bergman) who is now married and needs help to escape the nazis. The classic movie quotes of all times come from many of their dialogues!

3. Carol (2015)

Astonishing Academy Award®-winner Cate Blanchett and Academy Award®-nominee Rooney Mara are two women with completely different backgrounds in the 1950s who fall deeply in love with each other and shake the grim society at that time. What does it take to live a real love story? Find out when you watch this delicate, piece of art film inspired by Patricia Highsmith’s 1952 novel, The Price of Salt and directed by Todd Haynes.

4. Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind (2004)

Who hasn't lived a very intense love affair and thought it was best to forget all about it, because of the terrible breakup, because of all that pain that our poor broken hearts felt at the time? Michel Gondry the director known for his awarded music videos, directed this incredible heartbreak story, but with a tenderness to it, played by Jim Carrey as Joel Barrish and Kate Winslet as Clementine Kruczynski, the object of all his love and fond (and not so fond) memories.

5. Southside with You (2016)

Michelle and Barack Obama's romantic start is shown in this heart warming, very romantic date movie. In 1989 Barack Obama is a young law firm associate from Harvard's Law School and finds a job at the young Michelle Robinson's office in which she is his advisor. He falls in love with her and a certain day, she accepts his invitation to go out. The film is around this first date and the rest is History with a capital "H". The kind of cozy, lovable film to watch on a special date night, for sure!
